Hands-On STEM Workshop: Build an Edible Plant & Animal Cell

What Participants Will Learn:

The structure and function of plant and animal cells
The role of key organelles (nucleus, mitochondria, cell membrane, cytoplasm, chloroplasts, etc.)
The similarities and differences between plant and animal cells
How structure relates to function in living organisms

Participants will:

Construct labeled edible cell models
Compare plant vs. animal cell structures
Engage in guided discussion and scientific reasoning
Take home a deeper understanding of life science concepts
